Junior Social Media and Marketing Assistant

We’re seeking a part-time Junior Social Media and Marketing Assistant for our family run training and consultancy service, based in Whitstable, Kent.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable and highly ambitious student student seeking a degree in a similar field, or junior who is seeking experience for a career in social media management and digital marketing.  You will be joining an expanding local organisation who want to raise their profile and create UK wide and global brand awareness.  You will play a key role in growing our online presence, whilst gaining knowledge from entrepreneurs and commercial professionals.

 

The Role

You would be tasked with creating and posting interesting and informative content across multiple social media channels, spanning LinkedIn, Twitter, and beyond. Key responsibilities will include…

o Executing social media campaigns, scheduling updates in advance and defining ongoing strategy

o Working closely with line manager for help creating engaging and informative content

o Monitor analytics, measuring and reporting on the success of campaigns

o Developing and posting content assets including blog posts, case studies, testimonials, white papers and more.

 

This is a part-time position, 10 hours per week, with flexibility on when you work.  You would be required to work alongside the team in the office.  We work Monday - Thursday, 9.30am - 2.30pm.

 

The Candidate

You must be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for digital marketing and communications plus a strong command of the English language and a creative flair for writing.  Experience using content management systems would be an advantage, as well an understanding of SEO and online content development. Some experience of LinkedIn and GoogleAd campaigns is desirable but not essential.

You will be a well organised individual with excellent multi-tasking ability, able to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines. The company are looking for a friendly team player, able to use initiative and contribute new ideas, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Freelance Teaching Observer

  • £130.00 per day TBC

 

We’re seeking a part-time Freelance Teaching Observer for our family run training and consultancy service, based in Whitstable, Kent.  As our company grows and develops we plan to open a CIPS approved study centre, running online and public courses in Kent and possibly London.  We require someone to observe, moderate and report on the delivery of these training courses by our tram of trainers without a recognised teaching qualification.

 

The Role

You would be responsible for carrying out observations on other team members who do not hold teaching qualifications, and reporting to management on the outcome of these observations. The centre management is expected to act upon these reports, provide appropriate training and support to improve the teaching skills of team members, and if necessary remove and replace member(s) of the team who do not reach a satisfactory standard of teaching qualifications and/or skill. Copies of any teaching qualification certificates held by members of the team to be evidenced and kept on the course file.  This is a part-time, ad-hoc position,, with some flexibility on when you work.

Successful candidates are professional, have assessment experience, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.  You will have had similar previous experience.  You will be a well organised individual with excellent multi-tasking ability, able to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines. Qualifications

You must hold a UK recognised Teaching qualification.  You will be required to bring your certificate to interview.
